As low volume units, these syringes are useful for incremental dispensing tasks, particularly those useful for dispensing dark/black materials where the 3-part syringe types (with their black rubber plunger) can make differentiation and thus accuracy difficult.

Two part syringes lack the need for silicon lubrication which can provide better material compatibility for some substances.

Finally, these syringes incorporate a safety backstop to help avoid accidental plunger withdrawal.
